What's New in CSS-Questions 2026?
Release notes summary on everything that's changed in the new update.
What's changed?
I think the biggest change you’ll notice is a complete redesign of the CSS-Questions home page itself. We have a new official logo on the top left panel, with a cool landing page that has a 3D hero element you can play with before you experiment with anything on the page

But aside from that, I’m sure you’ve noticed sidebar link changes and more. Let’s summarise every change you see on the website.
- Improved tests and question option rendering
- All tests are now timed, with warnings when you leave the screen
- Daily challenge mode added
- Multiplayer mode added
- New profile mode with activity history, calendar, streak history and recent tests
- Leaderboard added
- Blog added
- Overall site improvement and feel
- CSS-Questions socials active! (Bluesky & X / Twitter)
- Forum (experimental)
- Community questions (experimental)
Notice the experimental features? Well, we’re currently testing them out to see if people are interested and would like to know more about them and use them. Those features may or may not appear during the next update based on community feedback.
What's coming
I'm excited for the future of this site and I would like to share are a few features being actively worked on such as:
- Ad-free experience
- 400+ CSS-Quesitons Textbook
- Custom multiplayer options and premium multiplayer rooms
- Larger multiplayer lobbies
- Wordle-style guess the CSS property mode
- Community-made questions pack
- Special events!
CSS-Questions has moved from a practice site to a full-grown learning experience and platform for all web developers who want to learn modern CSS!
